This event is hosted by IGES (Institute for Global Environmental Strategies) and is part 2 of the series "International Conference for Implementing Article 6 of the Paris Agreement". The first part took place on February 17, 2022, and a video recording of the event can be found here.
Building on the discussion at the first conference, the second event will focus on the specific needs of relevant governments and the private sector in terms of institutional and regulatory framework development and capacity building, and identify issues for early implementation of market mechanisms.
We will also uncover areas where implementation can be accelerated through collaboration with stakeholders such as the UNFCCC RCCs.
