Elects Chairs, Adopts Management Plan

At their first meeting in 2015, the Joint Implementation Supervisory Committee (JISC) will be chaired by Julia Justo Soto and Konrad Raeschke-Kessler, respectively. The JISC also adopted its management plan 2015 and agreed on recommendations for revising the JI Guidelines, which will be fuelled into the intersessional climate talks in June.

Decides to Further Simplify Project Cycle and Revisit Additionality

At its February meeting in Geneva, the CDM Executive Board agreed to further simplify the CDM project cycle and to consolidate the PoA rules. EB members further endorsed the development of integrated PoA methodologies while adopting a Standardized Baseline for rice cultivation and a new methodology for the aviation sector. The Board is also going to revisit its additionality testing.
