Long-term strategies (LTS) are important for understanding and prioritizing which short and medium investments and measures can contribute to the Nationally Determined Contributions of countries and enable them to reach their long-term goals.
The BMU-funded Global Carbon Markets project in Uganda and Tunisia in cooperation with the Climate Finance Innovators Project and the World Bank will conduct a webinar to discuss the development of long-term strategies in Africa. The speakers will draw on the experiences gained in the Global Carbon Markets project, demonstrate the benefits of long-term planning and showcase the lessons learned from those countries.
