The Regional Climate Weeks serve as a collaborative platform for governments and various stakeholders to collectively discuss climate-related issues. They take place each year in Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Asia Pacific. Regional Climate Weeks 2021 will kick off on May 11-14 with the "Virtual Thematic Sessions" of Latin America and Caribbean Climate Week.
The Virtual Thematic Sessions will focus on the following three themes:
- National Policies and Macroeconomic Approaches.
- Integrated approaches to climate resilient development.
- Leveraging opportunities for transformation
