April 2019 - Carbon pricing is considered a key instrument for limiting climate change. With the aim to support the implementation of existing carbon pricing policies and drive the introduction of new policy measures, the Carbon Pricing Leadership Coalition was called into being by the World Bank in 2015. It brings together leaders from national and sub-national governments, the private sector and civil society. The CPLC has now published its Carbon Pricing Leadership Report 2018|19, providing an update on CPLC’s activities over the last year. The annual report also showcases articles from thought leaders to inspire and guide government and business leaders to increase their carbon pricing ambition.
