May 2018 - I4C is the world’s leading exhibition for carbon markets and climate finance takes place in Frankfurt this year from 22-24 May. The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) once again welcome you to the German Pavilion, which showcases German engagement in promoting carbon markets and climate finance.
This year, I4C is taking place at the Kap Europa Congress House in Frankfurt. At numerous panels and side events as well as in pitch hubs and small discussion groups, high-level experts will discuss current trends, research findings and innovations. The aim is to mobilise private investment, support developing countries in implementing their climate goals, and develop new ideas for market-based and non-market-based climate finance. This year’s event will feature more than 220 speakers, over 100 workshop sessions, 44 exhibitors and some 1800 attendees.
The German Pavilion at I4C is being organised jointly by the BMU and the BMZ. It presents German engagement in promoting carbon markets and climate finance. At 14 stands, initiatives and companies will inform the professionals attending the event about their activities. In a varied programme of panel discussions, roundtable talks, and workshops, experts will shed light on recent developments and efforts in the areas of carbon markets, emissions trading, green finance and climate finance. Beyond this, the BMU and the BMZ are organising 14 additional workshops and 6 pitch hubs as part of I4C.
